5 Little Monkeys

I realize this is a book that most kids read at a much younger age, but for some reason we never did. We had to take Josiah to the doctor for his 3rd Rocephin shot the other day, and the nurse gave Grace that book to keep her mind off of her brother. I read it to her a few times, and she really liked it. Then she started to complete the sentences! That's not too big a deal for most 3 year olds, but it is for Grace!! By the next day, she could say almost the whole rhyme by herself. It's so encouraging, to know that her brain is getting those synapses firing right again and she's able to use her short term memory so well. God is good!!
